i was trying to save up for the canon version but just couldnt swing. i think this was worth the money

Three very different shots (lighting, contrast, and focal length/aperture). They all look good to me but without 100% crops, it's hard to comment on anything but the image contrast, which is good. Also, the model/friend/spouse? is quite beautiful. As you know, the lens generally gets very good reviews. Sounds like you're happy. Congratulations on your new lens. :)
