Just curious if anyone uses these things? I wonder how well they actually work..

Flash extenders actually do work, although I am not familiar with this model. Metz sold one for it's big potato masher strobes at least 20 years, and still may do so today.

I have the Better Beamer - it's basically the same.

i too have the better beamer. works fantasticly.

its just a fresnel lens that concentrates the light... so, they work :)

They work VERY well.
