Very usefull as it would be suitable for pictures indoors without flash. Museums or Churches would need that. My T90 with a 24L 1.4 is never good enough for that purpose even with a 1600 ASA film. I suppose with 3 stops more than 1/60s which is what IS claims for 50mm, it would be good at 1/8s which was what I always needed.

I would like some good Adapter from FD to EF with x1 magnification as I have an old T90 and an FTb with a 24L 1.4, 50 1.4, 85L 1.2, 200L 1.8. Both T90 and FTb work good but the FTb which I like more because more easy and light, has a problem with his light sensor. I think it was supposed to be good for about 10 years and needed correction for further use. So Ftb works great as a full manual. The T90 looks like the EOS line too much plastic and electronics but its true full top notch metal inside, though not AF, so I only use it when I have to shoot faster.
Canon will never do that adapter.
So it would be great if I could find a Canon 5D with broken EF mount on ebay for a fistful of $ and I could cut it off and replace it with the FD mount of my FTb.

What about making a retro body for FD and FL mount, which would look like the old F1 with the same features, or maybe some top notch and AF only noticed, and a full frame sensor of course ? This would be limited series and Canon would be so much cool to deliver this for its 70 year anniversary. Needs Canon 5D body reworked without EF mount features but that of FD (no big deal), and everything mechanical instead, like DPOF. Just sell that $2500 and Canon will be a big winner. :D

Also I am wondering if there is an adapter to apply a magnifcation of say x0.6 to standard EF lenses for APS-C. This also would be great. Canon would clarify things and would enlarge the L series and ff lenses use.
I am even surprised no other manufacturer makes this converter since it is an obvious need and quite easy to make, and could even be made of high quality lenses to keep an average lens its quality. The adapter would have pleny of space since meant for EF lenses only and EF-S body only.
