Man, I have been using this Intuos2 for about 3 days. I honestly can't fathom how I ever lived without it before. It does take some getting used to, but, it's not very hard at all.

I'm not using it as a replacement for a mouse, but strictly as a brush tool for digital image editing in Photoshop. I use the mouse (regular mouse, not the one that comes with the tablet) for normal point and click, and use the tablet/pen for precise editing. Man, it really does make world of difference.

I guess it's a very personal taste though as others seem to dislike them equally as much. For me, I would not want to go back to editing soley with the mouse. The tablet is one of *the best* purchases I've made thus far.

Damn I love it.

Isn't it amazing!

I could not live without it,. tasks using any of the brushes are made so easy... it is truly a briliant solution.

I got the Intuos2 for Christmas and absolutely love it too! I converted from an older Wacom 4"x5" tablet and find that the 6" x 8" area is just perfect for editing. Big enough for good accuracy but small enough to not wear you out. It's also comfortable to use in your lap (don't read anything into that ... I don't like it THAT much  ) unlike the smaller pad.

While my MS Mouse worked great, I have augmented the tablet with a jelly wrist rest and have switched full time to the included Wacom mouse. Setting the mouse device to "mouse mode" and tuning up the sensitivity is the key to it's usability. Don't miss cleaning them mouse balls!
