I'm getting some dark(ish) spots on my pictures (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v302/baw5t0n/blackspots.jpg). You can see it on the upper left side (10 o'clock) as well as the upper right (2 o'clock) and at up top (12 o'clock). I checked the lens for dust in the front and back... it seems to be clean... do you think it's the sensor? If so, what can I do about it? If it's not the sensor, what else could it be?? HELP!!

Could it be vignetting? What focal length were you using?

i don't think it's vignetting... did you look at the picture? they're actually spots/ dots... click on the word "pictures." I'd appreciate ANY input...

Can you put the camera on a tripod, set the Aperture to F22, point to a light wall and take a frame.....then post it here ?
It sound to me like you have Dust on the sensor (which happens to every single DSLR on the market today.......including the 400D which has an antidust mech on it !!!)
If it's just dust, then it can be cleaned yourself fairly easily !

It's hard to see, but it looks as if you have some dust on your sensor. Time to break out the ol' blower and give it a puff or two. I would try that’s first and if needed, a washing with the good’ol reliable wet method. Anyway, there are a ton of threads about sensor cleaning. Might want to do a search on “sensor clean” and read a few. It’s pretty easy.

Get a sensor brush by Visabledust and follow supplied instructions........or you could try using a bulb blower first, but I don't find that method works well.........however others swear blind by it..........sensor brush has been working a charm for me.

You have dust bunnies on the sensor...no big deal...try a rocket blower first...if that doesn't clear up the problem, there are a variety of deep cleaning methods....this is an excellent option http://www.pbase.com/copperhill/ccd_cleaning

Of course, for the pics already infected, you can clone them out of there. I don’t see that many but maybe my eyes are bad. I am sure on a monitor zoomed in they look huge. Any its kind of like when you know it's there, your eye goes right to it.
