I'm sorry but this doesn't do anything for me. The field and sky are perfectly exposed, this is a perfect image on a technical standpoint. I'm struggling to look for a subject - I'm wondering what is over that hill. Maybe if the gravel wasn't there and the hill/sky line was on a third it would be better compositionally.

You need to include some text when posting in the Critique Forum. Tell us some story/background about the shot, where, when, and maybe why you took it.
What I see is a gravel parking lot maybe at a man-made dam burm. You have the horizon in the middle of the frame which is a no no. Use the rule of thirds. There is nothing interesting in this picture and it is just horizontal figures.

I also find this shot a little boring. If I take a shot like this, I use it to play around with in PS. I have done the same with yours as it was an ideal candidate for manipulation, I hope you don't mind? I think this goes beyond photography and steps into art these days. ;)
P.S. Sorry if this shocks anyone.

Very cool Alby, back in the day when I used to play with Bryce I might have put a lighthouse on the hill. :)

Thanks Alby; I like the composition a bit better now.
I have the photo resized to fit my desktop background. Good to know it doesn't float everybody's boat.

Hehe I used to play with VistaPro and real 3d on my old Amiga :D In fact I still have all my Amiga gear in the loft still. I'll have to get it out one day and take a trip down memory lane.
