Hi-
I am going to sell my Rebel 2000 film camera. I see them on ebay for about $75-100 shipped. Do you think that is a fair price? I think I paid $400 in 2001.
I'm just not sure what it is worth.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Steve

To be honest, these film Eos cameras are really not worth the effort of selling. i have an eos 100 ( Elan in the US) I bought in '94 for the SAME price I paid for my 20D - and on ebay in the UK they go for about the equivalent of 20 bucks. No way I'd part with a camera that has never let me down, for a derisory amount like that.
If you do a search on ebay, and check completed listings, you'll get an idea of what you might get - but past performance does not guarantee what you might get and it might end up not selling or going for silly money.
If I were you I'd keep the film camera. you might want it for the wide angle someday, and colour slide film is still superb quality.

$75-100 sounds about right. You could get an Elan 7 for less than $200 these days.
I'd say keep it! Colour slides are sweet...
