Hello everyone,
I recently purchased Canon gear and I was referred to this website for help from kentuckybob. I've been lurking around for the past week and I really like what I see. I will be posting more in the future. Thanks for having me.

Welcome.. it's tradition to post a photo of a duck with each new camera/lens you buy! If you plan on hanging around here for very long, hide your credit cards.. you will end up spending a lot of money. :)

Thank you for welcoming me. I recently shot Nikon and decided to switch because of Canon's L lenses at f/4. I don't need the f/2.8 speed b/c I typically shoot outdoor wildlife and landscapes. The weight is a greater concern for me.
Here is my new kit:
Canon 5D
24-105 f/4L IS USM
50mm f/1.4
70-200 f/4L USM
400mm f/5.6L USM

And various other things of course.
