Not sure where to post this and its kind of off topic. I am wondering about shipping to the US (from Canada). Is it possible to calculate duty charged by US custom in advance? Does it depend on state?

Have you tried the US Customs and US Post Office Websites?

Duty will not be dependent on the state to which you're shipping.
