Folks, for those of you, who have posted questions regarding a good choice for the portrait lens for 10D, I am enclosing a recent portrait of my son:

The portrait uses 24-70 f/2.8 L, and was taken in my home studio using continuous light from photoflex. Note that I still need some good background/hair light...

You really need strobes to get a higher f-stop and increase your depth of field...The blurry camera in his hands is a distraction to me.

Actually, the "fuzzy" camera didn't bother me - the portrait looks very good. Nice quality.

I agree, the blurred camera is a bit of a distraction... otherwise, GREAT picture and pose!
