I had to look twice but I finally figured that the river was iced over. At first, I thought that you were using a slow shutter speed to get that cotton like look used in waterfall shots. I think you done quite well. Where were the shots taken?

They were at the Delaware canal which parallels the Delaware river between new hope,Upper Black Eddy and Easton PA, and thank you for the comment
