Last night we took the dog out into the garden and my partner came in and told me there was an interesting looking frog in the garden, so i grabbed the trusty 400d and off i went in pursuit of this froggie.

well i dont know what kinda frog it is, i have never seen one with colours like this, and so i was wondering if someone could help out and maybe ID this froggie intruder.

the picture is a bit soft as i still had my diffuser filter on the camera, but i think that it gives it some depth.

It looks sharp if it wasn't diffused. Cool frog.

He is the Common Frog (Rana temporaria), though the colours are strange. Might be a male/mating season thing, but I have never seen photos that colour before.

yeah i have never seen a frog in that colour either, thats why it had to be captured and posted, i wouldnt have wasted your guys time with a normal frog, but as you say its a common frog but with interesting colours.
