I like this.... It brings back great memories of my Santa Barbara days....

I want more detail, yet you've blocked out shadows that deny them to me. I suspect that's the point... and the ambiguity has reinforced the surrealism of bikeman talking with frogperson. This works on so many levels. Composition is so tight... You leave so little to accident, that's impressive. And the tonal range from blacks to whites and all eight zones in between... again, impressive. So this works as an abstract ... yet...
Yet I wonder about place and time and as I try to place them I realize that it could fit in almost anywhere in a fifty year swath of memory. And somehow, that makes its angle so amazingly wide... or perhaps I mean shutter speed?

Here's a moment of middle-class liesure which doesn't trivialize the rest and reward that it brings. Nor does it attack it as somehow vapid. It deserves to be blown large and hung provocatively. I wonder where?
