I just tried my new S50 and tried the movie mode noticed while recording in ovie mode and playing back that there was a blue back groung what is causing this and how can i correct it,to get rid of the "BLUE BACK GROUND".I have owned an S30and never had this back ground in the movie mode.

Sounds like you've got the white balance set wrong.
Taking shots that are predominantly daylight lit with the white balance set to tungsten gives a severe blue cast for example.
Even auto white balance can give blue casts with daylight lit indoor shots. Using the custom "evaluate white balance" setting gives much better results. Evaluate a pure grey sample (white of mid-grey both work fine).

The problem could be mixed light source too. If your back ground is in shadow, it might have a blue cast from the sky, or if you shooting inside and the background is lit from outside, that too may easily cause the blue back ground. When dealing with mixed light sources, you have to to compensate by homogenizing the light sources, or else you'll have colour shift in one part of the picture...
