I have recently posted a couple of pictures to my own photo gallery. Some were RAW files converted to JPG in PS CS and others were shot as JPG in my G3 and resampled for the web and my gallery for faster download.
The JPG files have full EXIF data available through the gallery's "Photo Properties" function and the RAW converted files have none. Why does this happen?

Try looking for the EXIF info in the .THM file. It's really a tiny JPG renamed to .THM. It holds the EXIF info - or at least most of it.
You might not want to web post JPGs with full EXIF - it takes up room, and unecessarily adds to the file size.

4walls - have you updated the ACR plug-in to 2.1? (It's a free download from Adobe) One of the changes (aside from adding more cameras) was to restore the EXIF data to its original location in the file, in addition to having it in the XMP sidecar which 2.0 (and I think 1.0) did. This solved the problem for me. The typical gallery software doesn't (yet) look for EXIF data in the XMP location but in the "old" location...

YES!
The update solved the problem. Thanks AJSJones... you're the best.

Just out of curiosity, how does one save a JPG in PS CS without the EXIF information. I do my RAW conversion in Breezebrowser and it always seems to be there.

The save for the web in CS doesn't save the EXIF data.
