Hey nice shot my only suggestions would be to increase you DOF a little right now there is not enough depth to have is whole face in focus. I don't know what if any PP was done but I played areound a little I hope you like.

I can't critique, as I just got my lights this weekend. I've been following the Barndoor thread with TMR and Lightingman though. Scott gives some very useful info there.Here's the link.

It looks a bit stark and the face is not completely in focus.
Have you checked out and followed the tutorials in the Barn Door thread. They might prove useful in getting your lights set up correctly. Watch depth of field and focus.

I'm not sure you meant to say "open DOF". To achieve greater depth of field you are stopping down to a smaller aperture, so I don't think you want to be using the word 'open' for that. I knew what you meant but the terminology would throw others off.

my bad...I meant to imply expand DOF by closing down ( higher number) the aperture. The above is a little oof as the zipper seems more sharp...the lighting was the concentration above.
