Nice bokeh, and a pretty girl. If you'd gotten the camera either higher or lower, you wouldn't have had the fence rail across the top of her head. I'd also like it if she were turned just a bit more towards the camera, so that we could see a bit of her personality.

Agreed. Looking at the picture for the first time, my eyes couldn't really find a point of interest to focus on right away. Had her face been turned a little more where we can see at least an eye, that would have solved the problem.

Hard to believe thats at iso 1600. Beautiful subject, and nice pic.
Just as a matter of interest, what camera did you use?

Nice shot. You should put the XTi in your sig.
Do you really get your DSM to 2 g's? ;-)

I must have saved my sig right after I posted this. But yes, this is with a Canon XTi and the noise is great unless you really pixel peep.
Thanks a lot for the critique! I never even noticed the bar over her head, and I'll keep the point of interest thing in mind from now on.
My car is actually a 2nd generation DSM, although I'm sure it could do 2 lateral G's...sideways, right before it flips over and kills me :D

It's a nice shot in a sort of mysterious way.
As stated above, you do kind of need to see at least one eye.

It is a nice shot! What draws my attention is her earring!
It seems that there was enough light there to shoot at a lower ISO.... but then again you did shoot at 1/60 so i guess a lower ISO would have required slower shutter...and thats not easy hand held :)
Nice shot
