Hi,
Did some seaches but couldn't find a valid answer. Just wondering if anyone creates photos with white borders around the photo with some type of writing underneath it? Just wondering if there’s a standard ratio or size of the white border from the edge of the photo and the edge of the print for the sides and also the bottom?

Going to be selling sizes from 8x10 up to 16x24 with this layout type. Any info would be helpful before doing some test prints. – thanks

I would suggest trial and error to get the right size... just make your canvas size bigger by the same amount on each side - say 250 pixels.. then do the bottom and it make it say 400 and see how you get on.. if its not enough just increase it :) I dont think there is a standard - everyone seems to be different

That looks OK. Sometimes I'll make the top just a bit slimmer than the sides, & the bottom always thicker than the sides.
