Has anyone heard any news about a new version of this camera for 2007? Maybe more megapixels or something? I have a host of Minolta lenses that are burning a hole in my camera case, but the DSLR-A100 isn't quite good enough for me to justify the cost.

Sources from the big camera store chain that no one seems to like (the one that starts with an R) are telling me that they will not be receiving any new shipments of the A100. Further, all lenses, flashes, and accessories have been called back to the warehouse.

Amazingly, Sony feel the Sony brand is cool enough to warrant a $1400 body and an expensive FF body instead of upgrading the camera that actually brings them money.
Arrogance and stupidity in one package. Marvellous.
