Hi All,
Had to stay home with my sick boy today (wife doesn't get sick days, so this is always, happily, my duty). While he was sleeping I sat on the porch (my perch) waiting for some birds to come by. I had seen the Red Bellied woodpecker several times in the morning and was quite happy to see it come back while I was outside. He was at the feeder tree for just a bit, then flew off and started pecking at the metal top on the pole occasionally- must have liked the ringing, or worked ring side for boxing events in a past life. The finch was one of a few finches that also stopped by while I was out side.
Woodpecker: 1/1000; 6.3; ISO200
500mm House Finch: 1/200; 6.3; ISO 200; 500mm
I did some sharpening and levels on the woodpecker, and a touch of leveling on the house finch.
