I'm sorry to say that after testing the new ICC profile for the Epson Stylus Photo 2200 with Premium Glossy Paper, that it is inferior to the original one. There is a yellowish cast to skin tones and whites, particularly near and in shadow areas, and a loss of detail in hair. Whites in general are yellowed. I then checked the RobGalbraith Forum and found that people there were dissatisfied with the new profiles (for semigloss and premium lustre as well) for similiar reasons.

Scott,

Came across this page with some free 2200 profiles custom built:

Thought I'd pass it on.

Thanks Roger, I'll give them a try. Up till now I've been very happy with the original ICC profiles for the 2200. Have you read anything about how Epson screwed the new ones up? It would seem to be a fairly major public relations faux pas to release new profiles that perform poorly.
Regards,
Scott

Seen no detail - as I said I'd seen early posts that were positive, but clearly first impressions were misleading.
