Hot Pixel :(

are hot pixels common with many G2 owners?

I have a nice little white one in the top left corner of all my images, and sure its easy fixed in photoshop, but should it be there in the first place?

Has anyone had experience with warranty claims etc?

Its still a great camera though!

Sounds like you have a stuck pixel, hot pixels are only seen on long exposure shots, ie 1.0 sec. All cameras (every brand) have hot pixels:

Canon will fix (map out with software) stuck pixels if you send in your camera under warrantee.
