Stone wall in Adelaide Hills

Shot on a very hot day with sun high in sky, hense the harsh shadows, using Canon IXUS 300.
I used photoshop to draw attention to the wall by reducing the colour outside the rectangle.
What do people think??

Doesn't work for me either, but there still maybe something for color on BW framing.

I think it's a clever presentation. I don't like it, but it's clever and artistic and will appeal to many. I love stone walls and like to see them presented naturally.
Nice job

Perhaps what would work better is when you magnify the the color part to about 120 % and leave the BW part as the frame :?:

I like the idea of what you have done with this but for some reason it just doesn't work for me. I think that you might want to try that again without the border around the colored area. I would like to see that
