Suggestions / todo list ?

Pekka, do You keep a list of the suggestions You get beside the todo list on this page: http://photography-on-the.net/ee/todo.php

I think it could be usefull if such a list was available here in the forum so we could check if something already have been suggested and perhaps get an indication weather it is on Your todo list or not.

I think Pekka has a long list with different priorities, not to mention a lightbox and some kind of an oder system to sell pictures on the web, because there are no reasonable priced systems available for non-fulltime freelancers who need to make some buck from their own pictures to buy the next DSLR or to have a good fish dinner down at the seaside. :wink:

Not sure I follow you here. One thing that I think it essential is a batch upload via zip file like pbase have. It is tedious to point to each photos when you have 1000 of them.

In the past we had a little discussion on the list about shoping cart features and the handling to sell professional over the web to the editorial staff of magazines, with invoices or a bonus system to allow controlled downloading of images.
Selling a couple of prints via paypal is ok, but covering an event and selling pictures in this manner doesn't work. One example is ImageFolio Commerce (www.imagefolio.com), other pro-systems are out of financial reach if you don't earn your money as a pro-photographer.

Batch upload: working with the ftp features of 1.5RC2 works fine. Uploading more as 1000 pics like this is tedious, yes. But I think you can always send your pictures with an external ftp program into your upload folder of EE. Perhaps Pekka can describe us the workflow setting up EEngine for www.photocroatia.com ?
