my boyfriend is an avid photographer, and he shoots shows, kids, etc. he is not paid, yet. :)

he has a canon 20D, a 7200 lens, a couple of others, and a flash.

i know i can't afford a lens, but what is a good gift for under $100?

well, extra batteries or compact flash cards could come in handy. maybe a remote shutter release?

Maybe a $100 voucher to put towards some camera gear... that way he gets the flexibility to put it towards what he considers most important. Adorama, B&H and Amazon all offer gift certificates. If there is a lens or something he wants he can put in a bit of extra money as well and everybody is happy!

You can never go wrong though with extra CF cards though.

that's so cute. the way i see it is Like this, your boyfriend shouLd not need anything materiaL, as i am sure he is happy to be with such a supportive and Loving partner

Gift card it to one of Richard's vendor recommendations....
Dwight hit's the nail on the head...Highest Quality is critical here...and I feel that, potential disappointment lurks here... He needs to decide on the HQ issues...some decisions in this area are tricky, and not that simple at all...let him run with it.

You might consider some CF cards or an Amazon gift certificate, too.
