Here are two more for my trip to Colorado. Would be interested in opinions on these also. I always know when I like photos that other people took but am never satisfied with my own so I have a hard time making choices. CC welcome.

Nice shots, but I do wish there was a little more light on the bridge so I could see it better

like #2 the best, and agree about the light and the bridge.

I just thought I would try to bring out the bridge a little more because of the last comment. Even if you don't like what I have done, I'm sure that there are ways to make it more to your liking (especially since I really don't know too much about photoshop). Some people here do amazing things with the program. Also, I had to save it at a very poor quality to be able to upload it as an attachment.

Thanks for the comments and thanks for the edit sportsforever. Sometime it is a touch call how much to lighten shadows versus high contrast. I will lighten up the shadows just a bit on the original.

I think the the portrait shot is better and the composition is good but as has been said I think the light was wrong. I would like to see this shot with a better angle of light at a more appropriate time of day. Even better sunrise or sunset according to which way bridge is facing.
Good shooting :)
