View Full Version : First stab at a "pop-up" picture ...

Just playing around with an image of the bridge over the red river I had taken last summer... i know i can do more to make it "POP" alot more, im just stuck as to what else to add! Comments / suggestions welcome, PLEASE :)

Pretty good! I can't say a thing bad about it because I still cannot figure out how to do these. With the instructions written out in plain English..... :)

I was looking at it for a few moments Before i even realised the tracks coming out of the frame,

Edit looks good, you bumped contrast or saturation up more?

Looks great and the tracks provide the perfect photograph for the effect.

A bit more contrast in the first one would make is stand even more. But I'm not crazy about the edit. Way too saturated to my liking.

Otherwise, I like the pop-up effect for this shot

I actually did not notice the "pop" effect that you did with the image until reading some of the comments.

That's a really cool idea. I just tweaked the contrast/saturation a bit. Original on bottom for easier comparison.

These are all fun. There's something so cool about images that won't be confined to their borders. They poke life out beyond the frame, and this one pours right into my lap. It's a technique I never seem to get enough of, and this is particularly clever. Thanks for sharing.
