i sent in my first album with mypublisher, but i forget to resize my photos to 200dpi. when my photos were first processed, it was at 300dpi.
rather than having to run the whole process again to change it to 200dpi, is there an action i can run on processed jpg to change from 300dpi to 200dpi?

I would only do this if they require that exact PPI. The action is trivial. Hit record new action, open a file, choose image -> resize, uncheck "resample", hit 200ppi, hit ok, save as, close, hit stop recording. Run in batch mode.

thanks Tim. MyPublisher requires either 180-200dpi. So, even though i've sent it mine with 300dpi, i don't think it will make the photos sharper or for that matter less sharp. just don't get why some album company ask you to send in at lower dpi. maybe to reduce the amount of actual size of the album?

If you will size or crop your images to their reccommended pixel dimensions, that will take care of the dpi. Just changing the number will do nothing to reduce the size of your image. See: http://www.mypublisher.com/help17/help_chapter6.php#f1
Pixel dimensions(L X W)/print size(L X W)= resolution (dpi) and
Print size(L X W) * resolution(dpi)=pixel dimensions(L X W)
