All links to your gallery from other sites will get your site placement up in search engines. The database is currently on 17th spot on Google if you search "digital photo gallery", 2nd if you search "photo gallery database" (which is what many people do when they search for gallery tools).

Index page means front page of your gallery on the internet. Not all web pages have index.html file nor they need to.

For example index page of my gallery is http://photography-on-the.net/gallery/

See what kind of addresses other people have submitted in http://www.photography-on-the.net/gallerydatabase/

Check your Spam box? My girlfriend never does and something she wants is always in there...
Or if you're behind an over-zealous corporate firewall like mine, don't even bother.

ok, i have a weird problem that i just can't seem to fix. i registered and received the email. after clicking the link, i go to the log in page and no matter what i can't log in. i know that i have the right user name and password and i already enabled cookies...
