I just got an A70 today and I noticed that when I zoom the LCD screen is a little weird. It seems to have fuzzy lines that go across it. Kind of like bad reception on a TV. Let me know if this is normal or if I should exchange it.
Thanks in advance

Can somebody just let me know if they've noticed this problem on their camera?

The LCD interferance is 'normal'.
It'll be mentioned in the manual.
Whatever mechanism generates the LCD image, it somehow gets interferance from Zoom and Focus motors. These translate into noise you see on the LCD. It won't record on the image.
You may also see purple lines from bright lights, but they too won't be recorded. Also normal.
Enjoy your camera.

Fuzzy lines on the LCD seem to appear when the battery voltage is low. That can include the temporary voltage drop that happens while motors are running. If lines only appear during motors operation or when the batteries are, in fact, low, I wouldn't worry about it.

Thanks guys, I won't return it right away. I'll see if it gets worse. I've only used it in my house at night so the low light may have an effect also. I actually work at target and the one I tried there today worked fine. Thanks alot.
