I like the emotion in the first shot :). Other than that I think they are are all good, I would be very pleased with them. Are they with the sigma?

Thanx. It was nice seeing some body contact after shooting a female tourney.
Yes they were all shot with the Sigma. 1600iso, 2.8 at around 1/500th

I still have a couple hundred more to go through so there should be some more action shots. I used to be goalie so I usually am always drawn to goalie shots!! :)

Nice! I like #1 too. Where were you shooting from?

Is that a 200 / 1.8 he's holding in #1?

I was up on the bleachers. There is only one spot between the blue lines that doesn't have mesh above the glass. And I discovered 2 weeks ago that the glass there is horrible!

There were 2 othere guys there shooting and I think they both had 300 2.8's
I was going to talk to them, but they left after the first set of games

Nice timing on those shots. Some of them look a little overexposed, but that would be easy to do with all that ice.

What shutter speed di you use to stop the action so clean? I always have a little blur in thearms or stick.

This what I was shooting for most of the day.

I did try my 1.4 TC for a couple but not enough light.

Thanx for all the comments!!
