I am a convert from Gallery. In Gallery when I uploaded images it would auto rotate vertical images using the exif data. Does EE have this functionality?

No, I haven't thought it would be neccessary as most people don't upload originals to server but already resized (e.g. 50%) and cameras are starting to have orientation sensors. It is of course possible to make EE rotate according orientation, at least with ImageMagick - I'll put that on my todo list.

i've found that my editing software PSPv5 (IIRC) looses EXIF data and that if i want that info in the exhibit, i must upload my originals and resize them in the upload function... i just wish that i could also add my watermark without having to use ImageMagik :(
