Yup
Set a matte black background behind the kitchen tap.
Used Canon 350D - with built in flash.
Tripod. As fast a speed as I could manage without interfering with the flash itself.
Set cam on TV
ISO 200
Shoot on Drive
Turned on the tap - pressed the remote release, and three hours later.....got what I wanted........ LOL
Is this what YOU wanted..........?

I don't quite understand why it took three hours? Did you leave it to it's own accord for three hours?
Anyway, I've done some drop photography and with the right techniques some pretty amazing things can happen.
What was the shutter speed?

I think Osdog meant that it took three hours of shooting before he got the shots he wanted :D
I did a similar thing today and it took about 20 shots before I finished up with anything reasonable.

Yeah, that's what I was going to assume.
I usually spend about an hour and a half. For me anything less isn't worth the time of setting everything up. =P
Very fun subject to shoot.

No...... what happened was that the boiler had broken down. I was waiting in for the gas man to come, and he took all afternoon to do the repair.
I messed around for ages with settings, and then took about 20 shots - that eventually gave me the one I wanted.
Sorry, it was not as exiting as you thought.
Oh, and I'm not a he, I'm a she by the way..... LOL :D
