D60 status

Does anyone have a good idea of the order status for D60s at this point? My D30 was stolen a couple of weeks ago and am patiently (well not so patiently!) waiting for the D60s to arrive. It seems that many stores received an initial batch of D60s and are now waiting for the second batch to arrive but don't have any good indications from Canon when that might be.

I just back ordered a D60 from B&H. As they get them in, they ship them out immediately. My ETA is 4 weeks. To wait until there on the shelves will probably take much longer. My suggestion is to order it to get on the list.

Thanks Patrick. I'm actually next on the list at a local camera shop. As soon as the shipment comes in, I'll get one. What they can't say is when the next batch will arrive. It seems that all the camera stores are expecting a next wave of cameras but no one know when that will be.

I ordered my D60 yesterday from Ritz online and in one day it has already slipped from shipping 5/16 to 5/19..... Guess they didn't like my email telling them I needed it by 5/19 for my niece's college graduation....

Ordered april 4th from Ritz, has slipped to May 5th estimated ship date.

Does anyone know what the actual delivery rate on the D60 has been in general?

I haven't been here too much lately, do many folks already have theirs?

I just talked with my camera guy yesterday as I was ordering a D60 for myself. He stated that they are getting in about 12 a week but that they are expecting the floodgates to open very soon (with very soon being left as an arbitrary date). I hope so since there are over 300 people on the list before me and that puts my delivery date somewhere in October!
