Losing EXIF Info

I am useing PS elements 2 than came with the 10D. When I save for the web I size to 800 mp on the longest side let software set the other side.. it works well except I lose the EXIF info.. Am I doing something wrong? or is this normal. I see other pic's at Byte Photo with 800X600 size and they have EXIF,,,,so I was wondering.

The save for the web in CS doesn't save the EXIF data, but the Save As.. does. Try using Save As.. and jpg as the fomat.

Thank you!!..That works. A little more cumberson sizing the pic but it works fine....Now do I want to do it that way or give up the EXIF.......do I want to re-save and re upload the 70 pic's I have on line?.... Don't know, I'll have to think about it.

BUT THANK YOU!! I thought I was doing something wrong.
