Very easy to take pics of her, she poses very good with very little effort. I am glad my kids dont mind letting me practice on them.

Too flat. Needs highlights, contrast.
1 stop overexposed.
Underexpose it by one stop and increase contrast. Then, it will be a show-stopping pic.

Very, very nice. Beautiful little girl, and a great portrait of her. It's amazing what you can do with a terrible portrait lens such as a 50mm, isn't it?
The only suggestion I would have would be to eliminate one of the catchlights in each eye in Photoshop. I think leaving the one on the right in each eye would be more effective.

Different strokes, huh? :)
I rather like the low contrast in this photo. It suits the subject for me, a lot better than harsher contrast would.

Didn't say "harsher contrast", just more.
Different strokes ...

Sorry...I didn't mean to change what you said. What I was saying is that more contrast (IMHO) would lessen the soft appearance of the photo. Bad choice of words on my part.

I agree with mwinog2777. Just do an 'auto contrast' in photoshop and add a curve of 50/65 (input/output).
This lifts the girl from the background.
Good shot Denny, your indeed lucky your kids are so patient :D
