I got it through AccessoryFinder.com for $129.00 and free shipping. I can't wait. I have read many many many reviews and this really seems to be a good tripod all around.

Bogden is nice but in all reality, too much for me right now.

I almost bought the U-212 DX for $88. but Since I was getting a tripod that would last me a lifetime, I thought I might as well go for it all. I had my previous tripod for 10+ years and that cost me $10 at K-mart when I was a kid. The 700DX is a bit heavier at 7.05 lbs compared to 5.5 but it is quite a bit taller at 74.80" maximum height, 60+" without the column extended.

I can't wait to get it in.

you should also think about getting a minitripod for about $10... one that can fit in your pocket etc. i know mine comes in handy..
