I took some pictures of my truck at like 5:30-6pm when the sun was real low ... I like the background and the look but the truck came out way too harsh, Ive been trying to fix it in PShop but ... I cant ...
Anyone have any suggestions??

You need to get to grips with adjustment layers and masks if you're using PS 7 but I am not sure if these are available to you in PS Elements? If not you can make a selection of your truck and apply an adjustment only to what you select. So, use a selection tool or Quick Mask and then apply your desired selection... Brigtness/Contrast.
If you have PS 7 then you make a Curves adjustment, apply a mask and "paint" out the bits you don't want to change or... paint out the bits you don't want to change and then apply the curves, levels, or whatever.
Nice truck!
Thanks for posting

You could have waited 1hr to take the photo at dusk and just turn your marker lights on.
I think that is the look you might have wanted.

Thats not that bad for an import, :D
Actually its not too bad but I have read that the last 20 mins of light is the best lighting for what its worth.

dont get me started on the whole "import" deal .... this truck was manufactured near Indianapolis, Indiana... and will most likely last longer than whatever "american" crap you have  and it kills the environment just as much
as for the lighting ... everything looks good, but its just because of the sun angle there are no shadows under the truckand thats what I think the problem is.
I took this picture at the same time ... its less harsh and I liked it too, you just cant see the whole truck

sorry, I just get pissed when people make "import" jokes on Toyota trucks when usually they have no clue what theyre talking about ... I didnt mean to sound like an ass and thanks for the other comment about lighting earlier.
