What soft do you use to make your galleries ?

I'd like a soft which allows to organize the pics as a tree structure without having to edit the HTML files manually. The soft should also be able to allow displaying text with each pic.

Another option (easier setup I think) is http://gallery.sourceforge.net, it is also easily embedded into your existing site if you have one. Several options for uploading pics to Gallery website, including files inside a ZIP file, direct upload of entire folders from WinXP (or select files from a folder direct from WinXP), a java client to batch upload pics and change size and captions, or upload from web page (browse to location on your computer). Resizing is automatic (you set defaults), you can allow others to register and upload as well if you want. And there is a print service available to users (I haven't tried that so can't comment on it).

Pekka's gallery exhibit software works quite well too, but IMHO stay away from the beta product for now.
