This is my cool dog. I really like this picture. It was the first intentional picture I ever took with my 300D, and several hundred pictures later, I think it is still my favorite.
I'm trying to make the picture show up here on the forum, but have not had much luck with that. If it doesn't show up, please follow the link.
If anyone can tell me what I'm doing wrong so that the pics. don't show up on the page, merely the link, I would love to know. Thanks.

Your picture showed up fine.
I would have done some work on the eyes to make them more natural looking. You have the animal version of red-eye in this one. I would also either crop or clone out whatever is to the right of the dog's head.
I like the pose and the expression (or lack thereof) on the dogs face.

I'll give the cloning thing a shot. I am afraid to mess with eyes too much. I don't want to make her look like she has dead eyes. I'll see what I can do.

Took me a couple of days. Here's what I came up with...

My wife likes it better.

That improves the shot - well done! When you say it took a couple of days, I hope you at least had a break for coffee! When I stared at the eyes of the original it took me two days to come round!
Anyway, nice bit of PS work that certainly improves the shot.
Thanks for posting and oh, the photo has nice detail etc and the dog has a curious, bored expression. I don't really go much for pet pics but this one has some charm to it.
Thanks for posting
