Fresh snow and minus 18C last Friday, Verdons Sud, Belle Plagne. View towards Courchevel - you can just see the village and the airstrip.

Canon G7, 5 handheld images, manual, ISO80, 1/640 f7.1

Stitched with Autopano Pro, which I highly recommend: see
http://www.autopano.net/

Final Tonal control and mono conversion in PSCS2, emulating a yellow filter. I have a single image of the little hut on the ridge which I rendered in B&W so thought this pano would be nice too. I do prefer it to the colour version.

Nice handleing of the exposure with the different tones. I think this BW conversion works well.

Nice work, Nigel, and what a great holiday. I came across your name in another thread regarding flash shutter release delays, which has been the sole disappointment for me. While registering the G7 for its warranty, I took the opportunity to ask whether a firmware fix is on the way. Sorry and no are the gist of their response. If you, too, are less than pleased, perhaps a chorus will get Canon's attention. Yours, Cameron
