...I set a low standard and rarely attain it.

Parcel arrived today containing 50 f1.4. Nestled on the dining table like a domesticated diplodocus but a bit smaller!
Dragged it into the sunshine (along with 10D) and reeled off tens and tens of snaps of 'owt, anywhere I cud find it.
Absolute crap!
Might have something to do with -2 stops exposure compensation and 800 ISO :oops:

Have now used Func 13-3 to stop inadvertent compensation within the 4 secs but ISO changes continually torment me

Yes I believe a "pint" would be in order. Are you sure it was the sun? Is there sun in the UK?
