Lens Suggestions

I have a bday coming up and was thinking of adding a new lens. I mostly shoot weddings and portraits. Looking at my gear list, what lens would you guys and girls say I need? I look forward to and thank you in advance for any suggestions.

are you a prime shooter?

go one of of the trinity lenses: 35L, 85L or 135L.
alternatively, you can go with their 'lil bros: 35/2, 85/1.8, 135/2.8

Something wide or something fast. 10-22 would be fun (or 16-35L if you're loaded). Any of the above mentioned primes could come in handy too.

Thanks for the suggestions so far. I'd like to go the prime route and although I've got the nifty fifty, I really don't care for it. The 2 I've been leaning toward are the 85/1.8 and the 135/2. Anyone have both and care to suggest which is better? I would more than likely be using it on the 30D as I usually have the 24-70 on the 5D. Thanks again for your responses.

85 1.2L II for weddings and portraits it is wonderfull.

I think 135L better or sharper than 85 1.8, but that 135L is long on your 30D, even 85 1.8 is long sometimes on your 30D, so your nifty50 is great for portraits, and i think that 24-70 considered to be one of the best portraits zoom lens, so get zoom as 16-35 or 10-22, and as prime get 35L, or no wrng to go with 85 1.8 or evem 85 1.2L but that 135L is really tempting and i love it more than 85 1.8

85/1.8 is much more handy than the 135/2L, and the quality won't disappoint.

Also worth considering: 50/1.4 and the 28/1.8 for low light situations.
