Dear all,

I have been looking at some Camera equipment and could not believe the prices. As an example I paid just under £1300 for my 70-200 IS USm and they are advertising it for just over £800 !!

Could you lease advise if you haev used them and if there is any catch , delays etc with this company, or am I better purchasing from from the UK ?

I've seen DigitalRev selling equipment on eBay.

Seem to have good feedback there.

They're a pretty established eBay seller here in Australia.

They ship all their goods direct from Hong Kong worldwide, so there may be some warranty concerns for some areas. They come with an international warranty, but this generally means you need to ship your unit back to Hong Kong (at your expense) for repair, should it develop a fault. This can be expensive and time consuming.

Hope that helps.

I'd also recommend Kerso, he's in the UK so there's no gamble with warranties and taxes. Not paying the VAT on imported goods is technically illegal as well as being a bit of a hassle.

I have used them, they are great. I have had no problems with them on multiple purchases, all through eBay.

Just looking at a few things, their US prices are a little high...higher than the camera shop right down the street even (Glazer's).
