These are really great. 4 is classic, 6 is dramatic, and 8 is very cool (you might clone out the mic though).

Nice set. Maybe a bit high in contrast, and the first two a bit over saturated reds. Apart from that: Nice. A lot better focussed as wel (except maybe #4)

I think #1 is a stunner ... I would never be allowed on stage let alone get the band to face me and get nicely lighted ... grand work! I also like #6 ... good mood capture and B&W conversion.

They suck. Give it up already. Time to go back and get your law degree like your parents wanted :(
:D :D :D
i mean jeez dude. do you really need us to tell you those are spot on, great pictures! come on, you know already :)
looks like you were shooting under awesome light and got to shoot from stage. so give us some narrative - how was the experience? the band? crew? etc?
p.s. just some slightly blown highlights on some. looks like you a touch of ev comp could be used.

Looks kind of like the Bass player was wearing red lipstick, but then again maybe he was.
All of these are fantastic. Great colors and clarity. I think 1 is my favorite, its a different picture than you normally see.

6 and 8 are fantastic. didn't realize diggle was playing w/ mike peters...is The Alarm gone and now morphed into The Gathering? i recall some stunt they played where they had some young standins do their video for a new song, which hit top 10 or so, thus proving Mike's premise that image sells, and if the Alarm (in all their 40 y/o + grandeur) had done the video, the song would have gone nowhere.
<age disclaimer> i first saw The Alarm in '83 when they opened for U2 on the War tour.

I did a PR shoot for the venue, to pre-empt the concert in the local press, and Mike's wife Jules suggested the shot so a friend and I worked on this idea and covered both sides of the stage........ and the rest is history as they say! :D It's one of my favourite shots of the whole weekend, and a really rare one to get, so I'm told!

The Alarm is still playing concerts and gigs and as far as I know have never split up. This was the first and definately not the last time that I will go to see them, as they are a superb group. http://www.thealarm.com/
The gathering is a yearly event for all the "extended family" of fans and friends that Mike and the Alarm have with many of them travelling to the concert from as far away as America, New Zealand and Japan. It's just not the concert that is put on and there are other events throughout the weekend to meet the band plus concert videos etc.
