Very nice image here of a bird I have nohing on as we seem to be a few hundred miles north of their range. Nice, pose in this sharp image with a great perch and BG. Very nice!

I have to agree with Gary. This is a very nicely composed, sharp image with personality. Well done.

Gorgeous shot! Looks like he had a side he preferred! I love bird shots like this one where you can see the fine feathering. Great job!

Beautiful take on a hyper little bird.

Glad you all like it. Thank you for the feedback.

This one shows the whole bird better, but I think I really like the pose in the first one better.

Both nice shots, but you didn't take these in Hawaii did you? :)

No, I broke my leg and I am healing up back in Massachusetts. The only shooting I can do is out the window. :(

Ah yes, I remember now. I knew it was something like that but couldn't remember the details. Hope the leg heals for you soon. :)

I hope so too. I find out in a few days if my leg is 1) healed and ready for rehab, or 2) I need to get screws put in and then I start the whole process over again. Come on #1...

I normally shoot landscapes and adventure type stuff. This shooting out the window is for the birds! Ha ha ha ha.

Well, your doing good at it. and you don't need working legs to do it. Seems like the adventure stuff is too dangerous anyway? :)

Look very nice. Wish I had one of those 100-400 L lenses.

Very Nice. They are not the easiest birds in the world to get to say "cheese"
