I like these. I know they aren't perfect but the bride is very happy with them. :)

I like them too. Only thing that I'd have fixed was that slanting door frame, I'd straighten it up a tad. Great exposure, lovely expressions and fun poses.

I can't tell you how many times I tried to fix that slant using the crop tool but it would never seem to work no matter how drastice I angled the crop. I finally gave up. I usually have success doing it that way but I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't change this time.

I like the first one. she looks very innocent and happy. the second I'm not terribly fond of. she looks a bit "stretched" Maybe if her arms were a little more relaxed...

If you have set the crop to pixels, there's some stupid bug in Photoshop that don't actually angle the crop, so it's still the same as before. So clear the settings for the crop tool, pull the frame all the way, and then move the crop frame to angle it - using the same aspect ratio as the original image. Then you can resize the image to post on the web.

I really like the first one....maybe it's memory grove, because I shot at the same place and had the same problems straightening out those pillars!

That's funny. Yes it's Memory Grove. The first time I've shot there.

I would use the ruler tool in photoshop to help straighten. Drag it along the side of one of the pillars, then go to Image > Rotate Canvas > Arbitrary and the exact degrees should be in the box already. Once it's rotated you can then just crop off the extra canvas it's added and everything should be A-OK!

I like the photos HQP - agree on the slanted columns, but they are tricky. I don't know why, but it does seem like the columns in Utah are hard to get straight :)

Thanks. I hadn't thought to blame the state. Good idea. ;)
