I was thoroughly impressed with the new nifty fifty lens I got. Here are some of my first concert/show shots I've taken. Please critique on these pictures since I need to find out how to improve. Also, feel free to manipulate these as you like.

I see you just posted these. My first suggestion is that you remember that pictures of people, no matter what else is happening, should show FACES, Faces, faces. EVERYTHING else is secondary (but important.) Almost universally faces should never be turned farther away than 90 degrees. Second, people should generally be whole ... you really don't want parts of people sticking in from the sides or out of the frame. And lastly your composition should eliminate everything that isn't important. I won't go through your images and point out how you might have applied these rules of thumb since I think it is pretty straight forward. And since you appear to be new, Welcome to POTN ... don't be put off, just keep shooting and posting.

Agree with Dwight (but I think in an image such as the last, the face is less important then the 'body expression'...)
Cropping would improve some of these.
They don't seem too crisp. Be carefull where you focus! For instance, in image #2 I think the microphone stand or tshirt is in focus, the head isn't...
#5 would be better if cropped to 'portrait' orientation...

Welcome to the forums!
Best advise I can give you: Read the FAQ, shoot lots, and learn :D
