I have an idea for a beautiful B&W photo -it's a road with trees on the left and right, with light poles plus the snow, it would have fanastic DOF and contrast with the dark trees and light snow. May I'm the only one who sees this as an amazing shot - but the problem is the amount of cars on the road, I'm sure if I waited in my car, with the tripod and camera ready to go I might be able to get it. I guess I want to know how long some of the people here have waited to get that perfect shot.
It would also be great at night, or during fall.

Probably easier at night, if you think that would work. Since you'd be using a longer shutter speed, you won't be catching stationary cars, you'd get light trails instead, which might make for an interesting contrast in the shot.

This is true, just a bit risky since I would be standing in the middle of the street. Forgot to mention that before. I guess I'll make sure I wear reflective clothing. Thanks
