Link the jpgs instead of the html page and we could see something other than red x's.

Please know that I have never shot track and field. I will be doing so at a meet in March so I am interested in your topic. The only thing that I noticed is that many of your shots were either directly in front of the subject (which was really effective with the long jumper) or at a 90 degree angle (exactly at the side). In the case of the runners, I could see how this could get boring quickly. Maybe something at more of a 45 degree angle? The biggest issue for me was that the backgrounds were distracting. Perhaps, try to position yourself so that there are fewer distractions are use depth of field to blur them as sort of occurs in image six.
BTW, what sort of kit did you take/use?
